摘要:
目的 探讨桩蛋白和踝蛋白在儿童及青少年甲状腺癌组织表达及临床意义。
方法 采用免疫组化法检测儿童及青少年甲状腺癌与成人甲状腺癌中桩蛋白和踝蛋白的表达。
结果 桩蛋白和踝蛋白在儿童及青少年甲状腺癌与成人甲状腺癌组织中均呈高表达,但儿童及青少年病人桩蛋白的表达明显高于成年病人(χ2=3.894,P<0.05)。桩蛋白和踝蛋白在甲状腺癌中的表达与有无淋巴结转移和肿瘤浸润程度显著相关(χ2=4.181~7.479,P<0.05),而与病人性别和肿瘤组织类型无关(P>0.05)。儿童及青少年甲状腺癌的淋巴结转移率显著高于成人甲状腺癌(χ2=16.272,P<0.05)。
结论 桩蛋白和踝蛋白在甲状腺癌组织中呈高表达,两种蛋白在甲状腺癌组织中的表达与有无淋巴结转移和肿瘤浸润程度密切相关,但儿童及青少年甲状腺癌更易发生淋巴结转移,这可为儿童及青少年甲状腺癌病人的诊疗和管理提供参考。
Abstract:
Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of paxillin and talin in children and adolescents with thyroid carcinoma.
Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to measure the expression of paxillin and talin in children/adolescents and adults with thyroid carcinoma.
Results Paxillin and talin were highly expressed in both children/adolescents and adults with thyroid carcinoma, and the children and adolescents had significantly higher expression of paxillin than the adult patients (χ2=3.894,P<0.05). The expression of paxillin and talin was closely associated with lymph node metastasis and degree of tumor infiltration (χ2=4.181-7.479,P<0.05), while it was not associated with sex and tumor tissue type (P>0.05). The children and adolescents with thyroid carcinoma had a significantly higher rate of lymph node metastasis than the adults with thyroid carcinoma (χ2=16.272,P<0.05).
Conclusion Paxillin and talin are highly expressed in thyroid carcinoma, and the expression of these two proteins in thyroid carcinoma is closely associated with lymph node metastasis and degree of tumor infiltration. Children and adolescents with thyroid carcinoma tend to develop lymph node metastasis, which may provide a reference for the diagnosis/treatment and management of children and adolescents with thyroid carcinoma.
